About Bill Foster
I worked in the computer industry from the mid '60's until the end of the last century. I am a native of California and initially worked for Hewlett Packard in Silicon Valley.
In 1976 I joined Data General and moved to the Boston Area. In 1980 I co-founded Stratus Computer, a company that specialized in fault tolerant computer systems.
I was inspired by my grandson Kevin to write this. He was asking a bunch of questions about my working years, so I figured I should write things down.
